In the following Terms & Conditions, "we" and "us" refers to Philip Browne Menswear and "you" will refer to the details provided with your order.
Philip Browne may change the Terms & Conditions from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 26th May 2010.
Once we recieve payment from you via credit/debit card, a contract shall exist between us and you.
After placing your order, we will send an email to confirm that the item(s) are in stock. While every effort is made to ensure that stock levels displayed on the website are correct, we may email you to advise that an item is no longer in stock. Under these circumstances we will send you an immediate refund to your credit/debit card.
All prices on the website are in pounds sterling and include VAT.
Goods will be dispatched only after funds have been deducted from your credit/debit card and all details including adresses have been verified.
We are not responsible for a delay in processing an order due to your card issuer not authorising a payment.
Please ensure that all details you provide are accurate. Do not send any personal details are credit/debit card details via email as we can not be held accountable for their security this way.

When you buy from us online, or subscribe to our newsletter, you will be required to fill out a form which asks for the following type of personal information:

The information you provide is held as strictly private and confidential. This data is stored by us and used specifically to complete your order and send news and information about new stock and offers from philipbrownemenswear.com only. You can opt out of our newsletters by replying "stop" at any time. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your order (ie your address may be shared with a reputable courier service such as Royal Mail, UPS or DHL for delivery purposes).
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, we do not disclose your details to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes without your express written consent.
When you place orders through this site we automatically send you to a secure server. In addition, we prevent any unauthorized access to the information through strict security procedures regarding its storage and disclosure.
None of your Credit/Debit card information is stored. We use Paypal, a third party payment processor, to handle this procedure securely.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We offer two types: an Online Voucher or an In-Store Voucher.
We offer online vouchers in £GBP only in £5 increments (i.e £5, £10, £15...) up to a maximum of £100 per purchase. We will send the recipient their online voucher via email on a date that you specify (up to three months after you place your order). A maximum of £100 of online vouchers can be redeemed per transaction. The voucher is in the form a code which can only be redeemed.
We also offer in-store vouchers in £GBP only in £5 increments (i.e £5, £10, £15...) up to a maximum of £100 per purchase. These will be sent to your address for you to present as a gift as you please.
Buyers from outside the EU will not pay the 20% VAT. The amount will be automatically deducted at checkout.
Delivery is FREE if your order is over £150 and to a delivery address within the United Kingdom.

All orders received before 2pm Mon - Fri will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 2pm or at weekends or public holidays will be sent the next working day.
If there is any problem with your order that prevents us from dispatching to you - for example, if the item is currently unavailable, then we will contact you within 24 hours of your order being placed or the next working day.
Deliveries are normally made within 1-2 days of dispatch by ourselves unless the goods ordered are being delivered outside of the United Kingdom, in which case the delivery may take several days longer.
All of our UK deliveries are sent by City-link, Royal Mail Delivery or another reputable courier service. All deliveries are insured to the full value of the goods purchased by you. A signature will be required upon receipt of goods so please ensure someone is available at your delivery address. If no one is present when the delivery is attempted, a card will be left informing you of what to do next.
All EU and International deliveries are sent by City-link, Royal Mail Delivery or another reputable courier service. We can provide tracking information on request. International delivery times vary depending on destination. We aim to have goods with you within 10 days although please allow up to 20 days (especially for international destinations outside the EU).
We will not deliver to PO Box addresses due to security reasons.
We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase from ourselves. On occasion however, we understand that you may wish to return items - please find our returns policy below.
You can return some or all of the goods and receive a refund for those items returned if you do so in accordance with the following procedures:
i) You must inform firstname.lastname@example.org via email within 7 days of receiving your goods clearly stating your order number and which goods you wish to return.
ii) You will then receive an email from us with an authorisation number - this must be clearly stated on the outside of the package and the returns form inside the package to be sent back. The goods and completed returns form must be returned within 7 days from the sending of our authorisation email.
iii) Goods being returned must be in their original, unworn condition with their labels still attatched. We would advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attatched labels. Please do not remove labels when trying on garments. Please ensure that you are not wearing an aftershave or deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. Please note that shoeboxes are to be treated as part of the item and care should be taken to protect these when wrapping.
We will not accept returns for any goods that have been worn and labels removed.
iv) When returning goods we would strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery services or a courier that offers a proof of delivery or tracking service and adequate insurance. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back by philipbrownemenswear.com. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance in place and wrap the package safely and securely.
We reserve the right to refuse returns if the above policy is not followed and we would like to emphasise that time limits are strict. If you have overrun your returns time limit please contact us at email@example.com and we will contact you and advise on the best course of action.
Your statutory consumer rights as afforded to you under UK law are not affected.Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is faulty, we will be happy to refund your costs incurred in sending it back. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.
In the case of goods that are faulty please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number, contact details, details of the product and reason for the return and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed regarding returning your faulty goods.
Where you say the goods are faulty, we do not accept the following as faults: fair wear and tear to the goods or where the goods have been handled negligently by you or damaged after delivery to you.
Exchanges and Refunds
To exchange an item for a different size simply specify the new size you require on the enclosed paperwork with the goods and return the goods. The new size will be sent out on receipt of goods being returned. Unfortunately we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange a garment(s) and purchase a different style, we suggest you return the item(s) for a refund and purchase the new item separately.
All items must be returned to us in accordance with our stated Returns Policy before a refund is issued. We will refund the original purchaser's credit/debit card (excluding original delivery charges) within 3 days of receipt of goods. It can however take a few days for the refund to reach your bank account especially if you are an international customer.
In the case of faulty items we reserve our position until we have fully inspected the goods.
