Fred Perry x Nicholas Daley AW20

Photography by Bolade Banjo for Fred Perry x Nicholas Daley

An intertwining of British subculture and traditional craftsmanship, the latest collection from Fred Perry and Nicholas Daley is a celebration of both music and fashion from the 70s, 80s and today.

For this collection, Nicholas has explored two key British subcultures: punk and reggae. Influential musicians such as Lee 'Scratch' Perry and John Lydon have inspired the designs, as well as contemporary artist Obongjayar, who is the face of the collection. Subcultural references are demonstrated through the use of tartan, checks and plaid in strong, vibrant colours.

Delving into Fred Perry's archives, Nicholas Daley has continued his own personal journey of fabric development, with references to key silhouettes and fabrics from decades past taking centre stage in his latest collection.
